In evaluating long-term strategy and chasing steady profits, do businesses really consider the whole picture? Are they missing an altogether bigger opportunity to transform their industry?

It was this thinking which prompted Jim Collins, best selling business author, to seek out what makes a business great, as opposed to just being good. Collins said good is the enemy of great. A good business may not see or feel the need to strive for more and to achieve greatness because they are already good. But with the right attitude and the right partner, great is achievable.
