3i has had a presence in Asia for over a decade and has a strong investment track record with a current portfolio of 33 investments valued at $1.6bn*. As of March 31st 2008, 60 businesses within 3i’s global portfolio have operations in Asia.

We have teams on the ground focused on identifying opportunities and building relationships with local business executives through our Business Leaders Network; as well as a Business Development team actively supporting 3i portfolio companies with their market entry strategy and business development within Asia, and expansion needs across Europe and the United States.
